Driving Innovation in Location Technology through Strategic Investment in Geospatial AI

UK 06/11/2025 – The True Position, a new entrant in advanced location and positioning solutions, is delighted to announce its success in receiving grant funding from Innovate UK for its latest research and development initiative. This project aims to revolutionise the landscape of location technology, offering transformative benefits across industries that need transparency into where things are, to understand risks to people, supply chains, the planet, and profits, and to identify investment opportunities.

The Network for Greening the Financial System warns that if global temperatures rise to 2.7°C by 2100, the economic impact on companies could reach USD 25 trillion by 2050. Addressing this challenge, the proposed solution aims to connect financial systems more directly to the planet by increasing transparency through a global database of verified asset locations. This initiative tests how to leverage multi-modal AI, Machine Learning, and geospatial data to create authoritative location identifiers for use by financial institutions and multinational corporations, thereby enhancing the resilience of their investments and positively impacting their operations.
